College Visits at Creek

Each year, representatives from colleges and universities from around the United States and abroad visit Cherry Creek High School during the school day to give presentations about their schools
and to  meet interested student applicants.
These visits are held in the Post Grad Center and last 30 minutes.

Interested students should sign up through their Naviance account before the scheduled visit.

To view a current list of our upcoming scheduled college visits,
check Naviance under the "College" tab.

Who may attend College Visits?

Seniors and juniors may attend College Visits at CCHS, held in Post Grad throughout the school year.

Students can also meet representatives from colleges across the United States and abroad at local college fairs held in the evenings, primarily during the fall. Please see the "College/Career Fairs" tab for a full list of local college fairs and events.

While CCHS is fortunate to have many college reps visit our campus, students and families of any grade are also free to reach out to colleges and universities to arrange their own visits remotely or on the campus itself, depending on the guidelines of the college.

Students, sign up for College Visits in Naviance  - steps to sign up

Why are College Visits important?

  • ,College reps work in the admissions office of the college or university. The rep who visits Creek is often the person who reads and reviews the applications from Creek.
  • The college reps who visit year after year are familiar with Creek and its variety of programs, rigor, and student population. These reps will advocate for the admission of qualified Creek students with the college or universities admission committee.
  • It is important for students to meet the admission reps of schools to which they plan on applying. This demonstrates interest in the school and gives the rep a chance to put a face with the student's name. Many college admission reps keep track of any contact the student has made with the college, such as attending a college rep visit, visiting campus, emailing the rep with a follow-up question, etc. College representatives may factor this into the admission decision because it shows that the student is serious about attending the school if admitted.
