ABOUT US

Cherry Creek High School’s Post Grad Center is designed to support each student and family in reaching their post graduate plans. The planning process begins their freshman year and culminates at the end of the senior year with a plan for college, technical school, military career, gap year, or direct career entry.

THE COUNSELOR'S ROLE IN THE COLLEGE PLANNING PROCESS

Counselors work closely with the Post Grad Center starting freshman year to help individualize the student’s 4-year plan and guide them to the appropriate resources to reach their post graduate plan. This is a decision making process where Counselors support the student through large group assemblies, small group workshops, and one-on-one counseling to help identify their individual interests, discuss career goals, and the important factors for the individual student in his/her college search.  We value the relationships we develop with students and their families and we look forward to providing personal, positive, and appropriate assistance to our Creek community.
